JUDGMENT K. RAVICHANDRABAABU, J. 1. Mr. R. Ananda Raj, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents and by consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal preferred by him on 25.04.2014, as against the order of Censure passed against the petitioner. 4. It is stated by the petitioner that the said appeal has been filed in time and the same has not been disposed of so far and because of the pendency of the said appeal, the petitioner's name is not considered for promotion. 5. Considering the fact that the petitioner has filed an appeal before the first respondent and the same is pending, without expressing any view on the merits and the contentions raised in the writ petition as against the order of Censure, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the first respondent to consider the appeal preferred by the petitioner on 25.04.2014 and pass orders on the same and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
