JUDGMENT The sole relief pressed for by the learned counsel for the petitioner at the time of hearing of this petition is that the application dated 5 May 2015 filed by the petitioner before the Vice-Chairman of the Kanpur Development Authority for execution of a sale deed in respect of allotment of house by the Development Authority may be decided. 2. Sri Shivam Yadav, learned counsel appearing for the Development Authority states that the application filed by the petitioner shall be decided expeditiously. 3. This petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction to the Vice-Chairman of the Kanpur Development Authority to take an appropriate decision on the application filed by the petitioner expeditiously and preferably within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed by the petitioner. 4. It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated on the merits of the case which shall be examined by the Development Authority in accordance with law.
