JUDGMENT Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned A.G.A. for the State and perused the material available on record. 2. This writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioners for quashing the FIR relating to Case Crime No.614 of 2015, under Sections 60 and 63 of Excise Act and Section 272 IPC, Police Station Khanpur, District Ghazipur. 3. Allegation against the petitioner is that under his leadership, certain persons were indulged in the business of manufacturing spurious liquor and from their possession 1515 liters of spurious liquor was recovered. On inquiry, they told that they are doing this work under the direction of the present petitioner Teju @ Tej Bahadur Singh. 4. This is an offence against the entire society and often incidents of death of several persons have taken place by consumption of such type of spurious liquor. Section 272 IPC is punishable with imprisonment for life. 5. Since the FIR discloses commission of cognizable offence of very serious nature, no case for interference is made out by this Court. Accordingly, this writ petition is hereby dismissed.
