Judgment : 1. This writ petition is filed praying for issuance of writ of mandamus directing the respondents to appoint the petitioner on compassionate grounds on account of death of her husband namely late Sh. Yash Pal Verma, who died in harness. 2. The case of the petitioner is that her husband, namely Yash Pal Verma, was employed in Punjab National Bank in subordinate cadre in the year 1984 and served the bank in different branches and while in service, he died on 03.02.2002 in the branch office Rehari Chowk Jammu. The age of the husband of the petitioner at that time was 41 years. Immediately after the death of petitioners husband, petitioner filed application on 05.05.2002 seeking compassionate appointment. No reply having been received, she submitted another application to the Senior Regional Manager Jammu for her appointment on compassionate grounds. Thereafter on 21.04.2004 the petitioner again issued a reminder t and studied up to 10th class in Government Girls Higher Secondary School Kathua. According to the petitioner, her case for compassionate appointment was duly recommended by the Regional Office of PNB to the higher authorities. No reply having been received, this writ petition was filed. 3. Respondents have filed objections stating that the application of the petitioner was considered and rejected and the decision was also conveyed to the petitioner. 4. The date of rejection has not been mentioned in the objections. As rejection order has not been communicated to the petitioner as on date, respondents are directed to communicate the same within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 5. Disposed of.
