Judgment 1. The prayer in the writ petition is to direct the respondent to resume the supply of petroleum and diesel to the petitioner petrol bunk i.e., RCS Agencies at Alangudi to Kovilur 4 Road, Alangudi Taluk, Pudukkottai and consequently directing the respondent to grant six months time to furnish necessary information for updating the information as per the letter dated 24.12.2014 in reference No.TRO/HQO/RET. 2. According to the petitioner, for the Know Your Customer details the respondent has called for certain details for updating the information relating to petitioner's dealership. Since the original allottee had died, the petitioner/wife of the deceased required further time to furnish the details. Hence, the petitioner after receipt of the said information sent a detailed letter on 25.11.2014 requesting the respondent to give one month time to furnish the details as required by them. While so, the respondent all of a sudden, has stopped the supplies of the petrol products from 30.12.2014 onwards. Therefore, the present writ petition has been filed for the aforementioned relief. 3. Learned counsel for the respondent would submit that on production of either PAN card or income tax return or even bank details, the respondent will release the petroleum products. 4. In such view of the matter, it is for the petitioner to produce PAN card or bank statements for the supply of petroleum products before the respondent. Accordingly, the petitioner is directed to produce those documents before the respondent and on receipt of those documents, the respondent shall resume the supply of petroleum products forthwith. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
