Judgment 1. Mr. D. Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and by consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to dispose of the representation, dated 01.12.2014, through which, she is seeking for appointment to the post of Village Assistant at K.K.Pallam Revenue Village. 4. It is stated that the petitioner is a physically handicapped person, however, she is capable of riding Cycle. It is further stated that the third respondent issued a call letter by his proceedings dated 12.11.2014, for interview to the post of Village Assistant. Though, four persons participated in the interview including the petitioner, none of them are the residents of K.K.Pallam Revenue village. However, the petitioner is residing in the adjacent revenue village. Therefore, she claimed that she is a duly qualified person for the post of Village Assistant and she is also having employment office seniority over the other persons. As she was not selected, she made a representation dated 01.12.2014, seeking for the appointment to the post of Village Assistant. 5. It is for the second respondent to consider as to whether the claim of the petitioner is having any justification or not and therefore, this Court at this stage, is not expressing any view on the contentions raised by the petitioner. This writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 01.12.2014 and pass orders on the same and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
