Judgment 1. Mr. R.Anandha Raj, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the first respondent and Mr. A.P.Muthupandi, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the second respondent and by consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the first respondent and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the second respondent. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the pension claim of the petitioner. 4. It is seen that the petitioner has already made a representation on 06.11.2014, seeking for payment of pension to the second respondent and the said representation is still pending. 5. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits and the contentions raised in the writ petition, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.11.2014 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
