JUDGMENT : Mansoor Ahmad Mir, J. It is contended that the writ petitioners were appointed as Pump Operators on daily wage basis on 9th August, 1996, have completed eight years of service, which is sine qua non for seeking regularization as per the policy framed by the State Government, were not considered, constrained to serve legal notices upon the respondents, but, despite that, have not been regularized. Hence, these writ petitions. 2. These writ petitions are on the Board of this Court for the last about five years. 3. The respondents have filed reply. 4. I deem it proper to dispose of these writ petitions with a direction to the respondents to examine the cases of the writ petitioners in light of the averments contained in the writ petitions read with the policy occupying the field and make a decision within six weeks. 5. The writ petitions are disposed of accordingly alongwith all pending applications.
