JUDGMENT B. RAJENDRAN, J. 1. The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st respondent to direct the 2nd respondent to process the petitioner's application dated 27.10.2014 to measure the petitioner's land in S.No.230/10 in patta no. 293 at Sakkikangalam I bit Madurai East Madurai District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 25.11.2014. 2. Mr. S. Chandrasekar, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. 3. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 4. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issued involved, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 25.11.2014 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible. 6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
