JUDGMENT : 1. Pursuant to the parties being referred to the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre, a Settlement Agreement dated 4.11.2015 has been placed on record, whereudner the parties have settled their dispute, subject matter of the present suit along with a complaint filed by the plaintiff under Section 138 of the N.I. Act, on the defendant paying a sum of Rs. 7.00 lacs to the plaintiff in full and settlement of all his claims. 2. Counsels for the parties jointly state that the entire agreed amount has been paid by the defendant to the plaintiff and therefore nothing further survives for adjudication in the present suit, which may be disposed of. 3. The Court has perused the Settlement Agreement. The terms and conditions of the settlement are set out in para 6. The Agreement has been signed by the plaintiff and the defendant and counsel for the defendant as also by the learned Mediator. 4. As the counsels for the plaintiff and the defendant jointly state that they have arrived at the aforesaid settlement of their own free will and volition and without any undue influence or coercion from any quarters, there appears no legal impediment in accepting the settlement. The Settlement Agreement is taken on record. The parties shall remain bound by the terms and conditions of the said settlement. 5. The suit is disposed of, along with the pending application. 6. File be consigned to the record room.
