JUDGMENT Manoj Kumar Gupta, J. The only relief claimed in the petition is for a direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Agra to decide petition no.906 of 2011 within a stipulated time. 2. The petition has been filed under section 11 of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955. A perusal of the order sheet reveals that the defendant therein has already appeared and is contesting the proceedings by filing a counter claim. 3. Section 21-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 specifically provides that all proceedings under the Act should be held on a day to day basis and effort should be made to conclude the proceedings as far as possible within six months from the date of service of the petition on the respondent. 4. In view of the aforesaid provisions under the Act, I am of the opinion that no further direction is required. The petition is accordingly disposed of.
