Judgment 1. This Habeas Corpus Petition is filed, by the wife of the detenu, namely, Kumar @ Veerakumar, aged 26 years, son of Marudhachalam, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records, in Cr. M.P. No. 03/2014 (CS) dated 05.08.2014, passed by the first Respondent, detaining the detenu, under Section 3(2)(a) read with 3(1) of the Prevention of Black Marketing and Maintenance of Supplies of Essential Commodities Act, 1980 (Central Act 7 of 1980), in the Central Prison, Coimbatore, and to quash the same and to direct the Respondents to produce the body of the detenu and set him at liberty forthwith. 2. It is stated by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the impugned detention order dated 05.08.2014 has been revoked. Hence, the Habeas Corpus Petition has become infructuous. 3. Under such circumstances, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed, as infructuous.
