Judgment 1. Mr. F.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and by consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to give compassionate appointment to the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 06.08.2014. 4. It is the case of the petitioner that his father was working as Office Assistant at the third respondent Office and died on 02.12.2000, while he was in service. It is the further case of the petitioner that his mother applied for compassionate appointment and at that time he was a minor. Since his mother's request was not considered, the petitioner made a representation on 06.08.2014, seeking for compassionate appointment and based on the said representation the first respondent also sought for clarifications through his proceedings dated 14.08.2014. 5. Considering the above said facts and circumstances the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass final orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
