JUDGMENT : Hon’ble Sudhanshu Dhulia, J. (Oral) 1. The applicants have preferred the present application for quashing the proceedings of Criminal Case No. 3233/2013, State Vs Revpal Singh & others under Sections 498-A/304-B of I.P.C. pending before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dehradun. 2. In the present matter, an F.I.R. was lodged in the year 2013 against the applicants in which chargesheet was filed in the year 2013 and the learned Magistrate took cognizance under Sections 498-A/304-B of I.P.C. against the applicants. An offence under Section 304-B is triable by sessions, however, the case has not been committed to sessions as yet. 3. In view thereof, the application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. stands disposed with the direction that the applicants shall appear before the learned Magistrate, who shall consider the bail application of the applicants on the same day, particularly in view of the fact that applicant Nos. 1 and 2 are the women, and moreover, applicant No. 1 is a senior citizen. In case of any reason the matter is adjourned, he shall consider granting for interim bail to the applicants on the same day and make efforts to decide the matter expeditiously.
