Judgment 1. Mr. A.P. Muthupandian, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents and by consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.12.2014, and to allow him to attend the duty in the third respondent's office. 4. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though a charge memo dated 24.10.2014, was issued against the petitioner and he was not allowed to attend the duty, as he was not placed under suspension. Therefore, he made a representation on 28.10.2014, seeking permission to attend the duty. 5. It is for the third respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law and this Court is not expressing any view on the merits and the contentions raised in the writ petition. This writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the third respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.12.2014, and pass orders on the same and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
