Judgment 1. The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Writ of Certiorarfied Mandamus to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the respondent herein in proceedings Na.Ka.No.6481/2014/F1 dated Nil.9.2014 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondent to implement the Resolution No.1217 dated 08.09.2014 passed in the Kovilpatti Municipality Council Meeting to install “Aavin Milk Booth” near Municipality paid latrine, which is adjacent to Anantha Lodge of Kovilpatti in Madurai - Kanyakumari State High Ways (Municipality ward number 24 Survey Number 531/33 Town Survey No. 97) of Kovilpatti to the Petitioner. 2. Mr. M. Saravanan, learned Standing Counsel for Kovilpatti Municipality, Tuticorin District, takes notice for the respondent. 3. When the matter is taken-up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that he has already obtained an order from the Divisional Engineer, Highways Department, Tuticorin, permitting him to put up a shop in another place through the proceedings dated 22.12.2014 made in K.No.2074/2014/EvaAa2. The same has been produced before this Court. 4. In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
