Judgment 1. Mr.R.Anandharaj, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents and by consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to permit the petitioner to replace the stage carrier Mini Bus bearing Registration No.TN-33-F-7324 with another Mini Bus bearing Registration No.TN-38-F-8313. 4. The case of the petitioner is that she is having stage permit renewal till 30.12.2015, authorizing the mini bus bearing Registration No.TN-33-F-7324 to ply on the permitted route and the said bus is not fit enough to ply further in the permitted route. Thus, the petitioner wanted to replace the existing mini bus with an another bus bearing Registration No. TN-38-F-8313, and for such purpose, she made an application to the first respondent on 19.05.2014. 5. It is further stated by the petitioner that on instructions by the first respondent, the second respondent also inspected the vehicle sought to be replaced in the place of existing bus and submitted a report already on 25.07.2014. It is also stated that the second respondent has certified that the mini bus sought to be replaced is fit enough to ply in the permitted route. Even though such report is given, the first respondent has not passed any order in the application filed by the petitioner. 6. Considering all the facts and circumstances of the case and taking note of the interest of the public, it is highly necessary for the first respondent to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner dated 19.05.2014, without any further delay. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the first respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 19.05.2014, and pass suitable orders in the light of the report furnished by the second respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
