Judgment 1. Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and by consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to fix the basic pay of the petitioner on par with his junior T.M.Balasubramanian. 4. According to the petitioner, his basic pay has to be fixed on par with his junior and making such claim he has already made a representation on 11.07.2011. It is further stated that even though such representation was made in the month of July 2011, till this date no order has been passed even though a subsequent proceedings dated 01.01.2013, issued by the second respondent to the fourth respondent reminded the pendency of the request made by the petitioner. 5. Considering all these aspects, this Court without expressing any view on the merits and the contentions raised by the petitioner, dispose this writ petition, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass suitable orders on the same claiming of the petitioner seeking for refixing of basic pay on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
