Judgment 1. Mr.D.Sivaraman, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents in all Writ Petitions. 2. By consent of both the parties, the main writ petitions themselves are taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 3. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents. 4. All the writ petitions are filed seeking a direction to the respondents to settle the retirement benefits of the respective writ petitioners. 5. It is the grievance of the petitioners that even though they retired from service in the years 2013, 2012, 2013, 2013 and 2013 respectively, the retirement benefits have not been disbursed so far. It is also stated that individual representations have been made by the respective petitioners to the respondents concerned seeking for disbursement of retirement benefits. Such representations made by the respective petitioners have not been considered so far. Therefore, they approached this Court by filing these writ petitions. 6. Considering the fact that the petitioners are seeking settlement of their retirement benefits and that they have already made the representations seeking for the very same benefit and also the fact that the said representations are still pending before the respondents concerned, without expressing any view on the merits and the contentions raised by the petitioners, this Court only directs the first respondent to dispose of the respective representations filed by the petitioners dated 13.10.2014, 13.10.2014, 09.11.2013, 26.09.2014 and 15.11.2014. Accordingly, the first respondent in each of the writ petitions shall consider those representations and pass orders on the same and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7. Accordingly, all these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
