ORDER These petitioners have filed this Writ Petition seeking for a writ of Mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representations of the petitioners and make the petitioners as Permanent Employees in the Electricity Board by including their names in the list with reference from the date of engagement as Contract Labourers as ordered by the Inspector of Labour, 4th respondent herein in his proceedings No.CPSA 9 of 2008 dated 27.05.2009 with all consequential benefits. 2. Even though the petitioners have submitted their representations to the third respondent, the third respondent has not taken any action to dispose of the same, which prompted the petitioners to move this Court for the above direction. 3. Considering the limited scope of prayer, the third respondent is directed to consider the representations of the petitioners and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioners and after conducting enquiry, within a period of eight weeks, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. In the result, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
