ORDER 1. The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, to the first respondent to instruct the second respondent to give police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, her husband and husband's relatives through the representation dated 1.9.2015 pending before the respondents 1 and 2. 2. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner got love marriage without consent of her parents. He further submits that the petitioner and her husband are apprehending life threat from their parents. 3. At this juncture, the learned Counsel appearing for the respondents 3 and 4 submitted that they are not causing any life threat to the petitioner and her husband. Hence, he prays for dismissal of the petition. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 on instructions, would submit that they are ready to give police protection in the event of the petitioner furnishing a correct address to the respondent police. 5. Considering the rival submissions made on both sides, it is seen that the petitioner has entered into a love marriage on her own accord. It is the apprehension of the petitioner that she may endanger life threat from her parents. Though she has sent a representation to the respondents 1 and 2 seeking police protection, pursuant to non furnishing of correct address to the respondents 1 and 2, the request of the petitioner has not been adhered to. 6. Therefore, in view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) in respect of providing police protection to the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the petitioner to give afresh representation with correct address to the respondents 1 and 2. The respondents 1 and 2, on receipt of such representation from the petitioner, are directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law with regard to providing necessary police protection to the petitioner, if necessary.
