ORDER : The petitioner has come forward with this Contempt Petition stating that even though the order dated 01.12.2014 directing the respondents to provide police protection to the life and limb of the petitioner, the respondents have not provided police protection. After issuing notice to the contemnors, the petitioner has filed this contempt petition. 2. The respondents filed a counter and a typed set of papers stating that on 10.12.2014, an order has been passed by the Superintendent of Police, Madurai District, directing the Inspector of Police namely Sugumar, Checkkanurani Police Station, Madurai District, to give police protection to the petitioner and his family. The contemnor has also produced the General Diary which shows that one police constable has been deputed for protection to the petitioner and his family. 3. Considering the submissions of the respondent and also General Diary produced today, the contemnor has complied with the order passed by this Court and there is no wilfull disobedience of the order and there is no elements of contempt. Hence, the contempt petition is closed.
