ORDER : The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction, to the second respondent, the Inspector of Police, Tamil University Police Station, Thanjavur to register the case on the basis of the complaint dated 12.01.2015 in C.S.R.No.16 of 2015. 2. The learned Government Advocate(Crl. Side), on instructions, would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 12.01.2015, a case in Crime No.269 of 2015 was registered by the respondent for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 447, 294(b), 323, and 506(ii) of Indian Penal Code. 3. In view of the above stated position, the second respondent is directed to investigate the case in Crime No.269 of 2015 and file a final report in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. 4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
