ORDER There was a decree for divorce granted by the jurisdictional Court in H.M.O.P.No.24 of 2004 as confirmed in C.M.A.No.72/2006 dated 08.4.2008. Thereafter, the petitioner got remarried. 2. According to the petitioner, her ex-husband lost contact for quite number of years with the child. There is a child born out of their wedlock. The child is studying in XII standard. Therefore, the petitioner made representations on 10.09.2015 and 26.10.2015 seeking inclusion of the name of her husband instead of the natural father of the child. Thus, such a request has been made for inclusion in the Transfer Certificate and in all other related documents. Seeking disposal of the said representations, the present writ petition has been filed. 3. Considering the scope of prayer sought for, without going into the merits of the case, a direction is issued to the respondent to pass appropriate orders on the pending representation of the petitioner dated 10.09.2015 and 26.10.2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
