The second respondent herein has rejected the petitioner's request by an order dated 26.10.2015, stating that the proceedings under Section 30(2) of Police Standing Order is in force to maintain public peace, and if any permission is granted to conduct Villupattu in the place mentioned it will create communal clashes. 3. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner fairly submits that it is true that on the eve of Guru Pooja no one is permitted to use mike-set. The said Villupattu will be conducted only with the mike-set. 4. On perusal of the impugned order, it could be seen that the second respondent has considered the request of the petitioner in all aspects and taking into consideration that Section 144 Cr.P.C proceedings is in force in southern districts from 02nd September to 31st October 2015 to maintain law and order and also to save the public leading to loss of precious lives, injuries to the public, damage to the properties and communal tension, and also considering that no one is permitted to conduct separate function by using mike-set and also Orchestra or villupattu either on the eve of Immanuvel Sekaran or Thevar Jeyanathi, correctly rejected the request of the petitioner. 5. In such circumstances, I am of the view that the petitioner is not entitled for any relief in this writ petition and accordingly, this writ petition is deserves to be dismissed.
