JUDGMENT The reliefs which the petitioner claims are in the following terms: "(a) Issue a writ, direction or order in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.1 & 2 to conduct a fair enquiry in the matter, expedite the same and conclude the same within time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court. (b) Issue a writ, direction or order in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.3 to investigate the matter in the light of the representation dated 24.09.2015, sent to respondent no.3 (Annexure no.10 to the writ petition) within time stipulated by this Hon'ble Court." 2. These reliefs have been claimed by instituting a public interest litigation. The petitioner claims to be a life member and State Co-ordinator of the All India Human Rights Association with an office at New Delhi. The petitioner discloses that he is a resident of district Deoria. Essentially, the petitioner seeks an enquiry against the erstwhile President of the Zila Panchayat, as stated before the Court by the learned counsel. 3. Learned senior counsel appearing on behalf of the present President of the Zila Panchayat, Kushinagar, who is impleaded as the sixth respondent, states that the petitioner has not disclosed the material fact to the effect that he was an erstwhile employee of the Zila Panchayat, Deoria, where he was engaged as a Tax Inspector. 4. The petitioner is evidently before the Court without a full disclosure of facts pertaining to his own locus. We see no genuine ground of public interest in this matter which the petitioner is seeking to espouse in a public interest litigation. The petition has evidently been filed for extraneous reasons. 5. The petition is, accordingly, dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
