JUDGMENT The relief which the petitioner seeks in the public interest litigation is in regard to the installation of an interlocking facility at railway crossing gate No.C-205, situated at Malak, Nilmatha, Lucknow. 2. The petition raises concerns about the safety of persons who use the railway crossing. At the same time, the matter relating to installation of an interlocking facility at a particular place also involves budgetary and other issues both of policy and feasibility. 3. Hence, at this stage, we direct the second respondent, who is the Divisional Railway Manager of the Northern Railway, to enquire into the grievance of the petitioner and to take a considered decision in accordance with law, preferably within a period of three months of the receipt of a certified copy of this order. 4. The petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
