Judgment 1. Mr.D.Muruganandham learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.V.Pandi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the second respondent and by consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent. 3. The petitioner is seeking for a Writ of Mandamus to regularize the services of the petitioner as a Sweeper in the second respondent's Nilakkottai Town Panchayat Office from the date of her appointment. 4. It is the case of the petitioner that she was appointed as a Sweeper at the second respondent's Panchayat Union, in the year 2005 and she is continuously working all these nine years. It is further stated that in spite of her continuous service, the benefit of regularization is not given to the petitioner. Therefore, she made a representation on 06.07.2014, and the said representation is still pending and not disposed of so far. 5. Considering the above facts and circumstances, this Court without expressing any view, only directs the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.07.2014, and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
