JUDGMENT 1. This petition seeks issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing F.I.R./Case Crime No.583 of 2015, under Sections 420, 467, 468, 471 I.P.C. and Sections 63 and 65 of The Copyright Act, Police Station Gangaghat, District Unnao. 2. Allegation in the impugned F.I.R. is that a factory was run for producing tobacco products in the name of different brands by way of forging wrappers. Relevant recoveries have been effected from the spot. Certain persons were arrested at the time of raid. The persons arrested informed the raiding party that the petitioner was the person who was managing the affairs of the factory. 3. Contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that the petitioner was not apprehended on the spot. The premises is not owned by the petitioner. The only evidence against the petitioner is extra judicial confession of the co accused. 4. We have considered the contention of learned counsel. Investigation is at inceptive stage. On interference of a writ court, the investigation would be derailed. Offence of serious nature has been committed and it is for the investigating agency to conduct investigation and find out the correct facts as also the role of the petitioner. On perusal of the F.I.R., it is evident that prima facie an offence has been committed. 5. No ground for interference is made out. 6. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed.
