JUDGMENT The relief which the petitioners seek in the jurisdiction under Article 226 in a PIL is as follows: "(a) a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to complete the works of Magh Mela-2015-2016 before one week of the paush-purnima and provide required facilities to the religious institutions, Swayam Sewi Sanstha and others as admissible to them and further be pleased to establish a "Nigarani Samiti of Magh Mela" of religious institutions, Swayam Sewi Sanstha and other people under an independent government agency to look-after the works and maintenance of government-department during the Magh Mela 2015-16." These are evidently matters for the district administration to consider since the petitioners seek appropriate arrangements to be made for the Magh Mela. The nature of the arrangements is looked after by the district administration. Hence, the petitioners are at liberty to pursue its suggestions with the Collector and District Magistrate. The petition is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
