Judgment 1. Mr.S.Kumar, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1, 2 and 4 and Mr.P.Gunasekaran, takes notice for the third respondent and by consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1, 2 and 4 and the learned Counsel for the third respondent. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to to grant notional promotion as Special Sub-Inspector of police from 31.05.2013 and disburse all the pensionary benefits by revising the pension pay scale on par with other beneficiaries who were promoted as Special Sub-Inspector of Police through proceedings issued in the month of June 2013 by the fourth respondent. 4. The case of the petitioner is that he is entitled to get the notional promotion as Special Sub-Inspector through the proceedings issued by the fourth respondent and claiming so, he made a representation on 23.10.2013. Such representation given to the fourth respondent is still pending and not disposed of and hence the petitioner is before this Court. 5. Therefore, it is for the second respondent to consider the representation and pass orders and this Court is not expressing any view as of now. This writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 23.10.2013 and pass orders on the same and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
