JUDGMENT D. HARIPARANTHAMAN, J. 1. It is represented by the learned counsel for the claimant that the entire award amount is withdrawn. Therefore, I am of the view that nothing survives for adjudication in the appeal. 2. I have also gone through the entire award. The claimant suffered 25% disability. He has also produced certificate in this regard and also other medical evidence. The Tribunal did not apply multiplier method and awarded Rs. 1,500/- for 1% disability. The Tribunal awarded a sum of Rs. 45,500/- in total under various heads and the details are as follows: For 25% disability : Rs. 37,500/- For Pain and suffering : Rs. 5,000/- For extra nourishment : Rs. 2,000/- For Transport : Rs. 1,000/- Total Rs. 45,500/- 3. In my view, the award of Rs. 45,500/- for the disability of 25% cannot be treated as excessive. As already stated, the entire award amount is also withdrawn. Hence, nothing survives for adjudication in the appeal and the same deserves to be rejected. 4. Accordingly, the appeal is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed. The claimant is permitted to withdraw entire amount.
