Judgment :- 1. The prayer in the Writ Petition is for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent to issue patta in survey Nos.51 52-2 3 4 of Kumbakgudi- village Thiruvarambur Taluk, Trichy District based on the proceedings in Pa.Mu.A8/13546/90 on the file of the 2nd respondent dated 29.7.1991 and in memo O-Mu(A7) 8447-2013 dated 18.12.2013 and in another memo O.MU(A7)4079/2014 on the file of the 1st respondent herein dated 28.10.2014. 2. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner is disposed of, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4. In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue involved, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders regarding the claim of the petitioner, in view of the proceedings of the second respondent dated 29.07.1991 and subsequent proceedings dated 18.12.2013 and 28.10.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
