Judgment :- 1. Mr. A.Jeyaram, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondent and by consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to disburse the petitioner's earn leave salary for 200 days and 6 days medical leave salary and also surrender leave salaries for 30 days with due interest and an 18% interest for delayed disbursal of the petitioner's service benefits. 4. It is seen that the petitioner has already made a representation on 01.10.2014 and sought for those benefits. The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the said representation is still pending and the respondent may be directed to consider the same and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law. 5. Considering the above stated facts and circumstances, without expressing any view on the claim made by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of, only with a direction to the respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 01.10.2014 and pass orders on the same and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
