JUDGMENT K. RAVICHANDRABAABU, J. 1. The petitioner seeks for notional promotion on par with his juniors. 2. It is represented today before this Court that after filing of the writ petition in the month of December 2013, the first respondent through proceedings dated 24.12.2014 granted notional promotion to the petitioner to the post of Deputy Tahsildar alone and the consequential notional promotion to the post of Deputy Collector has not been given so far. Therefore, it is submitted by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that such request made by the petitioner seeking for notional promotion till the post of Deputy Collector shall be considered based on his representation dated 24.10.2013. 3. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 4. The grievance of the petitioner is that the notional promotion can not be stopped upto the level of Deputy Tahsildar and it has to be extended to further higher post as well. Such claim has to be considered only by the respondents on merits. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondents, more particularly, the first respondent, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.10.2013, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law and also by taking note of the proceedings issued by the first respondent dated 24.12.2014 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
