Judgment 1. In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2012 for payment of pension and other retirement benefits. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the second respondent. 3. It is stated that the petitioner retired as a School Teacher and he is entitled to get pension and other benefits. It is also stated that the first respondent issued Pension Pay Order on 22.05.2012, and even thereafter the second respondent has not disbursed the retirement benefits. Therefore, the petitioner has made repeated representation and the last of such representation was made on 09.07.2012, and the request of the petitioner has not been considered so far. Hence, the petitioner is before this Court. 4. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the request of the petitioner seeking for payment of pension and other retirement benefits and pass suitable orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
