JUDGMENT : Deepak Gupta, J. In view of the order which we propose to pass we are not giving detailed facts of the case. 2. The Indian Oil Corporation(IOC) issued an advertisement inviting applications for appointment of LPG distributors and one of the locations at which LPG distributor was to be appointed was Jirania. The petitioner and the respondent No.6 had applied for this LPG dealership. It appears that the respondent No.6 was selected. Thereafter the petitioner made certain objections and these objections have been referred by the IOC to the Field Verification of Credential Committee(FBCC) and the first such communication in this behalf was sent to the petitioner on 07.03.2014 that the matter has been referred to the FBCC. 3. We fail to understand why the FBCC should not have decided the matter one way or the other till now. A new LPG distributor has to be appointed at Jirania. This will benefit the customers also, but for reasons best known to the IOC, the FBCC has not submitted its report till now. 4. We, therefore, dispose of this writ petition with the following direction: That the respondent-Indian Oil Corporation(IOC) shall ensure that the FBCC submits its report to the IOC latest by 01.10.2015 and the IOC thereafter takes a decision on the report by 02.11.2015. 5. The writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. No costs.
