Judgment 1. This petition seeks for a direction for expedition of proceedings in S.T.C.No.277 of 2012 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Fast Track Court at Magistrate Level, Madurai. 2. Heard both sides. 3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this petition shall stand dismissed with the observation that the record of the adjudication informs of much delay therein. The trial Court has granted several adjournments for production of the defence witnesses and on two very much prior days the matter has been posted for such purpose as a last chance. Despite it being so, repeatedly, in a mechanical manner the case is being adjourned. Hence, towards avoiding further protraction of proceedings, the present petition is dismissed as causing notice to the accused/respondent would result only in further delay. The trial court shall dispose of the case as expeditiously as possible and within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
