Judgment 1. This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to provide electricity connection to the house built under the Chief Minister Green House Scheme by way of order in Na.Ka.No.725/2013/Thi7 dated 09.04.2013 by taking into account the representation dated 14.03.2014 of the petitioner with a reasonable period of time. 2. The grievance of the Writ Petitioner is that the petitioner has not been given electricity connection for a green house which is given by the Government. Hence, he has come forward with the above Writ Petition. 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is brought to the notice of this Court that no application was ever given by the petitioner before filing of the Writ Petition. After filing of this Writ Petition and during the enquiry by the respondent, when the petitioner was put on notice and now the petitioner has come forward to give an application seeking electricity connection and also written a letter to the respondents stating that he is ready to withdraw this Writ Petition. 4. Be that as it may, it is a 'Green House Scheme'. Normally, they should provide electricity connection on application. In any event, now the petitioner is ready to submit his application. If that being the case, the respondent is directed to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders granting electricity connection. While doing so, this Court records the fact such type of Writ Petition should be deprecated for the reason that there is not even an application is made before the respondent. With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
