Judgment 1. This Writ Petition has been filed praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to pass orders to sanction old age pension to the petitioner from the month of July 2014 under the Social Security Scheme by considering the petitioner's representation dated 25.08.2014 within the period stipulated by this Court 2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner was granted pension under the Scheme of Social Security Scheme as well as Labour Welfare Scheme. Since she was granted both the pension, she fairly surrendered Labour Welfare Scheme and refunded the amount also. Thereafter, unfortunately, the Social Security Pension was also not given to her. According to the petitioner, for telling the truth, she has been punished. Therefore, she made a representation dated 25.08.2014 bringing to the notice of the authorities concerned. Till date, no action has been taken by the respondents. Hence, he has come forward with this Writ Petition for the relief stated earlier. 3. Here is the person who has admitted the mistake committed by the authorities and fairly refunded the amount also and that should not be a reason for punishing her. Therefore, the authorities are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 25.08.2014 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stand allowed. No costs.
