Judgment 1. The petitioner seeks compassionate appointment, based on the representation, dated 22.09.2014. 2. It is seen that earlier he approached this Court and filed a writ petition in W.P(MD)No.10387 of 2014 and sought for a Mandamus to consider him for appointment on compassionate ground to any of the job in commensurate with his educational qualification. This Court, by an order dated 27.06.2014, disposed of the said writ petition by directing the first respondent therein to consider the request of the petitioner and pass orders on the same within a period of eight weeks. It is seen that by proceedings dated 08.09.2014, the District Collector of Theni has informed the petitioner that his request for compassionate appointment will be considered based on his qualification as well as seniority. Even thereafter, no appointment was made and therefore, the petitioner made the subsequent representation on 22.09.2014. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is going to attain the age of 35 years within a period of six months and therefore, he would become ineligible for any Government post, if his request is not considered immediately. 4. Considering all the above stated facts and circumstances, the third respondent is directed to consider the claim of the petitioner seeking for compassionate appointment and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
