JUDGMENT : Mansoor Ahmad Mir, J. The core question involved in this Letters Patent Appeal is - whether the writ petitioner is to be retired at the age of 58 or 60 years? 2. We have gone through the impugned judgment. The writ Court has considered the said issue in para-1 of the impugned judgment after taking into consideration the averments contained in para-6 of the reply to the writ petition. 3. The petitioner was appointed as Part Time Water Carrier and converted to Whole Time Water Carrier on 14.11.2000. He came to be regularized on 19th January, 2002. 4. In terms of notification occupying the field (Annexure P-4 annexed with the writ petition), a Class IV employee, who comes on regular establishment on or after 10th May, 2001, has to retire at the age of 58 years and a Class IV employee, who is regularized before the aforesaid date, has to retire at the age of 60 years. 5. Having said so, no interference is required. Accordingly, the impugned judgment is upheld and the appeal is dismissed.
