Judgment :- 1. Mr.P.Seetha Raman, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondent and by consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 28.11.2014. 4. A perusal of the said representation would show that the petitioner has made some complaints against some of the officials for not promoting him to the next higher post. After making such allegations in the said representation, without impleading those officials party respondents, the petitioner has filed this writ petition. Now, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is not interested in taking action against those officials and it would suffice to consider his further promotion. That being the case, the petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If any such representation is given by the petitioner, it is for the respondent to consider the said representation and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks thereafter. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
