Judgment :- 1. Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents and by consent of both the parties, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission. 2. Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3. In this writ petition, the petitioner is seeking for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 21.03.2014, through which he is seeking for payment of subsistence allowance as well as full salary with effect from 21.11.2001. 4. The grievance of the petitioner is that even though he was placed under suspension as early as on 21.11.2001, till this date no enquiry has been conducted and no final order has been passed and on the other hand, the petitioner is also not paid the subsistence allowance. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 21.03.2014, seeking for the relief stated supra. 5. Whether the petitioner is entitled to the relief claimed or not, is for the first respondent to consider and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law and therefore, this Court is not expressing any view, as of now, on the claim made by the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 21.03.2014 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous petition is closed.
