Judgment 1. The petitioner filed this petition seeks for a direction to direct the third respondent to secure the accused persons in Crime No.791 of 2014 on the file of the third respondent police in accordance with law and investigate into the case and file the final report. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents. 3. The power of arrest generally being the prerogative of the respondents, this Court taking note of the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would direct the respondents to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4. With the above directions, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
