JUDGMENT Pankaj Naqvi, J. Heard Sri Mohammad Khalid, learned counsel for applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State. 2. This application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed for issuing a direction to the Judicial Magistrate, Court No.3, Aligarh to decide the Case No. 6874 of 2012, under Section 138 Negotiable Instruments Act, P.S. Quarsi, District Aligarh within a specific period. 3. Learned counsel for applicant submits that on the facts and circumstances of the case, an appropriate direction be issued to the court concerned to expedite the disposal of Case no. 6874 of 2012 under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act within a stipulated period. 4. Learned A.G.A. has no objection if appropriate direction be issued to the court concerned. No useful purpose would be served in keeping the application pending or calling for the counter affidavit. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the court below is directed to decide the Case No. 6874 of 2012 under Section 138 Negotiable Instruments Act in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. It is made clear that court below would not grant unnecessary adjournments, adjournments if any, shall be for strong and compelling reasons, else would attract exemplary cost. With the aforesaid direction, application is disposed off.
