Order The petitioner is an organization said to be interested in espousing public causes. 2. This writ petition has been filed with a prayer to direct the respondents to complete the construction of four lane road on the Buxar-Arrah-Patna National Highway- 84. 3. The petitioner states that on account of absence of a four lane road, together with a bridge on Sone river, the traveling public in the area are facing tremendous difficulties. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submits that instructions are obtained. It is stated that work has been identified on priority basis and, in fact, tenders were also invited. It is stated that one of the bidders has raised objection on certain aspects and the matter is under consideration. It is also stated that acquisition of land for the four lane road is, in fact, posing some difficulties. 5. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the respondents. 6. The petitioner is interested only in getting a four lane road laid in the sector mentioned above. The object is certainly laudable. The fact, however, remains that the construction of a road, particularly with a bridge of such size, involves acquisition of considerable land and allocation of huge funds. All the same, the respondents have already taken initiative so much so that the plans were prepared and tenders invited. It is not uncommon that in accomplishment of a work of that magnitude problem will arise. 7. We, therefore, dispose of the writ petition taking into account the representation made on behalf of the respondents and direct that the work of constructing a four lane on Buxar-Arrah-Patna sector shall be expedited and completed as early as possible. 8. Interlocutory application, if any, stands disposed of. 9. There shall be no order as to costs.
