ORDER : Despite service of notice, there is no appearance on behalf of the respondent. Therefore, we appoint Mr. Manoj Prasad, learned senior counsel, to assist the court. A copy of the paper book be supplied by Mr. Dey, learned counsel, to Mr. Manoj Prasad, learned senior counsel within three day hence. 2. Be it noted, Mr. Dey has basically made two submissions, namely, that the High Court has erroneously treated the contraband goods, i.e., Morphine of 950 gms. as small quantity and opined that 2.5 kg. is minimum commercial quantity; and that the High Court has reduced the sentence to the period already undergone which is contrary to the postulate enshrined under Section 21(b) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. 3. List the matter on 24.07.2015. 4. The Registry is directed to reflect the name of Mr. Manoj Prasad, as the counsel appearing for the respondent.
