Judgment :- 1. The petitioners in both writ petitions seek for revision of their pensionary benefits by refixing their scale of pay. 2. It is seen that the second respondent has issued a communication dated 02.11.2012, to the first respondent clarifying certain doubts raised by the first respondent with regard to the revision of pensionary benefits and revision of scale as well. 3. Now, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioners in both writ petitions seeks a direction to the first respondent to pass orders on the petitioners claim based on the clarification issued by the second respondent dated 02.11.2012. 4. The learned Counsel appearing for the first respondent submitted that the first respondent shall pass orders within the time stipulated by this Court. 5. The learned Counsel further submitted that the petitioners are not entitled to the revision of scale of pay more than what is available to the next promotional post. 6. I am not expressing any view on the merits and the contentions raised by the respective parties, as of now, as it is for the first respondent to consider and pass orders in the light of the clarification issued by the second respondent. Accordingly, both the writ petitions are disposed of only with a direction to the first respondent to pass orders on the claim made by the petitioners seeking for revision of pension and re-fixation of scale of pay in the light of the clarification letter issued by the second respondent dated 02.11.2012 within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
