ORDER : 1. This petition has been filed to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide adequate police protection to the life and limb of the petitioners from the respondents 3 to 9 herein, their men or anybody claiming under them by considering and passing appropriate orders on the petitioner's complaint dated 27.02.2016. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), who would submit that on the complaint given by the 2nd petitioner, a petition enquiry has been conducted in CSR No.14 of 2016 and the same was closed on 03.03.2016. 3. Hence, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent police to give protection to the petitioners. If there is any real and imminent threat to the life and limb of the petitioners in future from the respondents 3 to 9, it is open to the petitioners to lodge a fresh complaint in person with the 2nd respondent and on receipt of any such complaint being lodged, the same shall be enquired into and action be taken thereon in accordance with law. With the above observation, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
